승강장 문은 충격에 매우 약합니다. 승강장 문에 기대거나 미는 경우 또는 승강장에서 인라인 스케이트 등을 타고 놀다가 문에 충격을 가하게 되면 문짝이 승강장 안으로 이탈하면서 승강로로 문짝과 함께 추락할 위험이 있습니다.
엘리베이터의 문은 승강장문과 키문 2중으로 구성되어 있습니다. 엘리베이터가 이상으로 제 위치에 서지 않고 문이 열리는 경우, 반사적으로 내리다보면 턱에 걸려 넘어지거나, 승강장 문이 열려 있다고 무심결에 타다 보면 카가 없어 승강로로 떨어지는 사고가 발생할 수 있습니다.
엘리베이터 문에 손을 대고 있다가 문이 열리면서 문틈에 손이 끼일 수 있으며, 닫히는 문에 장난으로 손이나 물건을 넣을 경우 이를 감지하지 못하고 작동되어 사고를 당할 수 있습니다.
엘리베이터는 편리하면서도 위험한 시설물이므로 여러가지 안전장치가 구비되어 있습니다. 그러나 이런 안전장치는 매우 정교한 전자회로에 의해 조종되므로 무리한 조작이나 장난은 고장을 유발하여 큰 사고를 일으킬 수 있습니다.

화재는 정전으로 이어져 이용자들이 엘리베이터 안에 갇히게 되고, 승강로는 굴뚝역할을 해 불길이나 연기의 통로가 되어 매우 위험하므로, 비상계단을 이용하여 대피하는 것이 훨씬 안전합니다.
The doors of the elevator are very vulnerable to impact. If you lean on or push the doors of the platform or if you give an impact to the doors while riding inline skates, the doors can be broken away into the platform and you have a risk of falling into the hoistway with the doors.
The elevator doors and the platform doors are composed of a dual key door. If you unconsciously get on the elevator because the platform doors open, you can fall into the hoistway because there is no elevator.

Because the elevator is a convenient but dangerous facility, it is equipped with various safety devices. However, these safety devices are controlled by very sophisticated electronic circuits so immoderate operation or pranks can cause a big accident.
If you give an impact on the elevator by jumping or playing in the elevator, the elevator can detect a problem and make a sudden stop. If it stops suddenly, users can get injured or stuck in the elevator.
If you are stuck in the elevator, if you try to escape because you are scared, you can have a big accident. Inside of the elevator is a safe place from suffocation or fall by a broken rope. Therefore, you should wait in the elevator for rescue after calling using an interphone (calling button) calmly.
Fire is very dangerous as it leads to sudden blackout so users can get stuck in the elevator and the hoistway can be a passage of flames and smoke, so it is much safer to exit via the emergency stairs.
