유지보수는 승객의 안전과 기계의 수명을 연장하는데 그 목적이 있으며 아래와 같은 조건이 충족되어야 적격업체라 할 수 있습니다.
신속한 호출
건물의 관리자는 승강기 고장 원인을 신속히 파악하고 응급처리를 한 후 유지보수 대행사에 고장상태를 간략히 보고한 후 승객의 안전을 확보한 후 당황하지말고 충동시까지 대기한다.
신속한 출동
호출 요청이 있을 경우 유지보수업체는 보고받은 고장의 원인을 추정, 그에 상응하는 부품을 준비하여 신속하게 출동한다.
조치 및 처리
사람이 승강기내에 갇혀있을 경우 승강기의 위치를 정확히 파악하여 구두로 승강기내의 탑승자와 대화를 한 후 안정을 시킨 후 승강기를 안전한 위치로 이동시켜 탑승자를 신속하고 안전하게 내리게 한다.
고장처리 및 수리
승강기는 고장원인이 반드시 존재하므로 고장 원인을 분석하여 고장부분을 안전하고도 완벽하게 수리하여야 하며 추후 재고장이 같은 위치에서 발생하지않도록 주위의 원인 발생요소까지 세밀하게 점검하여야 한다.
교육 및 보고
유지보수 업체는 승강기 고장 처리 후 건물관리자에게 고장발생 원인을 구두로 보고한 후 추후 발생할지 모르는 고장에 대하여 교육한 후 대기위치로 이동한다. (고장 원인에 다소의 비용이 소요될 경우 관리자에게 보고한 후 처리하도록 한다.)
원인분석 및 대비
유지보수 업체는 귀사후 고장원인을 정확하게 파악하여 기록에 남기고 추후 재고장에 대비하여 예비부품을 확보한다.

The purpose of maintenance is to enhance the safety of customers and the life of machines. It can be described as a company with a proper qualification when the following conditions are met:
Fast call
A building manager should quickly understand the cause of a problem with an elevator, handle emergencies, report the status of a problem briefly, secure the safety of passengers and calmly wait until the maintenance company is present.
Fast dispatch
When there is a request for a call, the maintenance company should assume the cause of a problem, prepare appropriate parts and be present quickly.
Measures and Handling
When a person is stuck in the elevator, understand the exact location of the elevator and comfort a passenger in the elevator by verbal communication. Move the elevator to a secure location and help passengers get off the elevator quickly and safely.
Troubleshooting and Repair
There must be a cause of a problem with an elevator. Therefore, the cause of the problem should be analyzed and repaired safely and perfectly. Surrounding elements initiating a cause should be closely inspected to prevent the same problem from occurring in the same position later.
Education and Report
The maintenance company should make an oral report on a cause of a problem to a building manager after repairing. Then, move to a standby location after a briefing on problems that can occur later (if a cause of a problem incurs expenses, process after reporting to a manager.)
Cause Analysis and Preparation
After returning to the company, the maintenance company should exactly understand and record the cause of the problem and secure spare parts for problems that can occur later.
