에스컬레이터 사고시 응급처치

  1. 구출작업 중 관계자 이외에는 에스컬레이터 부근에 접근하지 못하도록 합니다.
  2. 구출작업은 피해자를 안심시키면서 진행합니다.
  3. 구출작업을 위하여 에스컬레이터를 전기적으로 작동시키는 것은 절대 금지하여야 합니다. 꼭 움직여야 할 경우 전원을 차단하고 움직여야 합니다.
  4. 기계실의 뚜껑을 떼어내고 작업하는 경우에는 기계실 공간으로 사람이 떨어지지 않도록 감시원을 배치하거나 안전책을 설치하여야 합니다.
  5. 손이나 발이 끼인 사고일 경우, 에스컬레이터가 운전되었던 방향에 따라서 사고의 상태를 정확하게 분석하고 반드시 끌어낼 수 있는 방향으로 회전시켜 구합니다.
  6. 구출작업이 곤란한 경우에는 일시 중단하고 전문가의 도움을 청합니다.

에스컬레이터 상황별 긴급구조 요령

  • 핸드레일 인레트 부위에 손이나 신체일부가 끼었을 경우

    1. 데크를 떼어내고 인레트를 벌리고 구출합니다.
    2. 위의 방법으로 구출이 안되면 피해자를 끌어내는 방향으로 당기면서 수동조작으로 서서히 작동시키면서 구출합니다.

  • 핸드레일과 건물, 천장의 협소한 부분에 신체의 일부가 끼었을 경우

    피해자가 난간부에서 바깥쪽으로 떨어지지 않도록 끌어안고 수동조작에 의하여 하강방향으로 서서히 작동시키며 구출합니다.

  • 스텝과 스텝라이저 사이에 끼었을 경우

    피해자의 상황에 따라 수동조작으로 구출하든지 피해장소 앞뒤의 스텝을 순차적으로 떼어내고 구출합니다. 스텝을 떼어내는 방법은 알루미늄 다이케스팅인 경우와 그레스 제품일 경우가 서로 다르므로 주의해야 합니다.

  • 스텝크리트와 콤 사이에 끼었을 경우

    콤을 떼어내고 구출합니다.

  • 스텝과 스케트 가드 사이에 끼었을 경우

    스텝과 스커드가드 패널 사이에 지렛대 등을 밀어 넣고 벌려서 피해자를 구출합니다.

  • 핸드레일 벨트와 데크보다 사이에 손가락이 끼었으 경우

    핸드레일 벨트를 데크에서 떼어낸 후 구출합니다.

엘리베이터에 승객이 갇힌 경우

  1. 갇힘을 통보받으면 즉시 보수회사로 연락합니다.
  2. 갇힌 승객이 구출시까지 탈출을 시도하지말고 안심하고 기다리도록 유도합니다.
    승강기 안은 외부와 공기가 통하므로 질식의 염려가 없고, 추락의 염려가 없으며, 정전시에도 비상등이 설치되어 내부를 밝혀주는 안전한 공 간임을 알립니다.
  3. 비상구출은 반드시 전문가가 하여야 합니다.
  4. 비상시 승강기 도어 및 카도어를 열고 승객을 구출할 때 승강로 바닥으로 추락할 위험이 있으므로 주의합니다.

엘리베이터 화재시

  • 빌딩 내에서의 화재

    1. 화재가 발생한 경우 엘리베이터를 이용해 비상탈출해서는 안됩니다.
    2. 대피는 반드시 계단을 이용하고, 빌딩내의 모든 엘리베이터는 대피층으로 불러들여 도어를 닫고 정지시켜 줍니다.
    3. 비상용 엘리베이터는 소화활동 등의 목적에 맞게 동작시킵니다.

  • 기계실에서의 화재

    1. 기계실에서의 화재는 전기 기기용 소화기를 사용하여 소화작업을 합니다.
    2. 카 내의 승객과 연락을 취하면서 주 전원스위치를 차단합니다.
    3. 카가 층의 중간에서 멈추게 되면 앞에서 말한 방법대로 승객을 구출합니다.

  • 승강로에서의 화재

    전선이나 레일의 윤활유가 탈 때 발생되는 매연에 질식되지 않도록 주의합니다.

엘리베이터 지진시

  1. 지진시 엘리베이터가 멈추는 경우가 생기므로 대피용으로 사용하지 않습니다.
  2. 진도3정도의 지진 후에는 관리기술자, 진도4 이상의 경우에는 엘리베이터 전문기술자의 점검과 이상 유무의 확인을 한 후에 운행을 재개합니다.
  3. 지진으로 승객이 갇힌 경우에는 앞의 방법에 따라 구출하고 구출 완료 후 상기의 점검,확인이 끝날 때까지 운전을 중지합니다.

엘리베이터 승객 비상 구출

  • 승강기 위치 확인

    감시반 및 승강장의 위치표시기 확인
    위치표시기에 나타난 층과 실제 정지층이 다를 수 있으므로 확인

  • 전원 반드시 차단
  • 이용자에게 구출작업 시작 통보
  • 승강기 정지 층에서 승강기 재확인

    승강장 도어키로 승강장 도어를 반쯤 열고 승강기가 있음을 확인

  • 카도어가 닫힌 경우

    승강기 내부도어인 카도어가 닫혀 있으면 손으로 연다.

  • 안전하게 구출

    카 하부에 빈 공간이 있을 경우 이용자가 승강로로 추락할 염려가 있으므로 반드시 손을 잡고 구출 승강기가 층 중간에 정지해 있어 구출하기 어려운 경우 (일반적으로 카 바닥이 승강장보다 60cm이상 차이나는 경우)에는 반드시 전문가(보수업체직원이나 119구조대)에게 구조 요청

Emergency treatment in the event of escalator accidents

  1. Do not let people other than rescuers approach near the escalator.
  2. Rescue victims while comforting them.
  3. Electrically operating the elevator for rescue must be prohibited. If it is required to operate the escalator, it should be operated after cutting off the power supply.
  4. When working after separating the cover of the machine room, a guard should be placed or a safety net should be installed to prevent people from falling into the space of the machine room.
  5. In the event of accidents where people’s hands or feet are stuck, analyze the condition of an accident accurately according to the direction that the escalator was operated and rescue by rotating to the direction that can drag out without failure.
  6. When it is difficult to rescue, stop temporarily and ask an expert for help.

Emergency Rescue Tricks by Escalator Situation

  • When hands or body parts are caught in the handrail inlet:

    1. Remove the deck, open the inlet and rescue.
    2. If a victim cannot be rescued with the above method, rescue him or her while moving the victim in the direction of dragging out and operating slowly by manual operation.

  • If body parts are caught in a narrow part of the handrail, building and ceiling

    Embrace the victim so that he/she does not fall from the handrail to the outside and rescue him/her by operating slowly to the downward direction by manual operation.

  • If caught between the step and step riser.

    According to the situation of a victim, rescue him/her by manual operation or by removing steps, from the front and the back of the damaged place, in order. Be cautious since the aluminum die-casting product and glass product have a different method of removing steps.

  • If caught between the step crete and comb???

    Remove the comb and rescue.

  • If caught between the step and skirt guard

    Open it by pushing on the lever between the step and skirt guard panel and rescue a victim.

  • If a finger is jammed between the handrail belt and deck border

    Remove the handrail belt from the deck and rescue.

If a passenger is stuck in the elevator

  1. If an event that a passenger is stuck is notified, contact the maintenance company immediately.
  2. Lead the stuck passenger to wait calmly without trying to escape until being rescued.
    Inform a passenger that the inside of the elevator is a safe place where there is no risk of suffocation as it is well ventilated and fall and the inside is bright as an emergency light is equipped even at the time of blackout.
  3. Emergency rescue must be conducted by an expert.
  4. Be cautious since there is risk of falling to the bottom of the hoistway when rescuing a passenger by opening the elevator doors and car doors in case of emergency.

In the event of fire in the elevator

  • Fire in the building

    1. In the event of fire, do not escape urgently by using an elevator.
    2. Use the stairs for evacuation. Call all elevators in the building to the evacuation floor, close the doors and stop the elevator.
    3. Operate an emergency elevator for the purpose such as fire-fighting.

  • Fire in the machine room

    1. Extinguish a fire in the machine room using fire extinguishers for electric equipment.
    2. Cut off the main power supply switch while talking to passengers in the car.
    3. If the car stops in the middle, rescue passengers using the aforementioned method.

  • Fire in the hoistway

    Be careful not to be suffocated by exhaust fumes generated when lubricants in wires or rails are burnt.

In the event of earthquake in the elevator

  1. Do not use the elevator for evacuation since it may stop during an earthquake.
  2. Resume the service after inspecting and verifying abnormalities by a management engineer after a 3-plus-magnitude earthquake and by an elevator expert after a 4-plus-magnitude earthquake or higher.
  3. If a passenger is stuck in the elevator due to earthquake, rescue him or her according to the aforementioned method. Stop operation until the above inspection and verification are completed after he or she is rescued.

Elevator passenger emergency rescue

  • Confirm the location of the elevator.

    Confirm the location indicator of the monitoring section and the platform.
    Verify the location since the floor appeared on the location indicator could be different from the floor where the elevator actually stops.

  • Be sure to cut off the power supply
  • Notify users of the start of rescue.
  • Reconfirm the elevator at the floor where the elevator stops.

    Open the platform doors halfway and check whether there is an elevator.

  • When the car doors are closed

    If the car doors, which are the inner doors of the elevator, are closed, open it manually.

  • Evacuate safely.

    If there is an empty space under the car, a user may fall into the hoistway, therefore, be sure to hold his hand when evacuating. If it is difficult to rescue because an elevator stops between floors (in general, when there is a 60cm distance between the floor of the car and the platform), be sure to call an expert for rescue.
